UPDATED: AETE Statement on COVID-19

The Board of the AETE and the LOC for AETE 2020 is mindful of the impacts of the global COVID-19 pandemic and would like to send all members, their families and friends best wishes at this unprecedented time.  Presently, there are no plans to make any changes to the AETE meeting on 2020.  However, the Board of the AETE are meeting regularly to discuss this fast paced situation and will make a decision about the meeting by April 22.  Any decision that we make will be based on the best current guidance from various sources including the public health advice in Ireland. However, if the current global situation remains as it is currently, or worsens, then we must accept recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and other organizations to postpone or cancel the meeting. Due to this ongoing uncertainty the AETE does advise you to wait to register and to not book flights or make any other travel arrangements.

Please keep checking back on the AETE website for any announcements.  For now, we look forward to your abstracts and contributions and we hope that you stay well and look after yourselves.
